APPEARANCE! In his natural dragon form Tiolith stands a towering 22 feet tall with a wingspan of 150 feet. Even with such a large wingspan he cannot fly very well, but he can glide and dive with deadly accuracy. He has a frill that begins at the top of his head and goes all the way down to his hips in an uninterrupted line. At his hips it has a few tears and scars from battles with Red and White dragons but still reaches the tip of his tail. The frill is a bright silver at the base close to the body fading to purple at the top. The two long, smooth horns at the top of his head are black at the tip, pointing up and back from his head. He has a sharp frill underneath the chin which roughly looks like a beard. In human form, he is an older gentleman, well dressed and wearing fine jewels. He adapts his clothing to whatever time period he is in. His hair is bright white and his eyes a silvery-blue. He always radiates an aura of power and smells faintly of rain and forest. He gained the nickname Theo from a group of traveling adventures he met on a sea voyage who he endeared himself to. Since getting that nickname, he has gone by the name Theo while in human form. | |||
PERSONALITY! To Tiolith there is nothing more important than his sense of honor and protecting innocent lives. He will never utter a lie and absolutely keeps his words even if the task takes hundreds of years. Like others of his kind he has spent more time among humanity, elves, and other intelligent races teaching them and learning from them. Before a fight he always gives his opponent a chance to change their mind and retreat. If they refuse he fights with absolute ferocity. In human form he uses ice and weather magic to fight, along with a preference for daggers though when it comes to a physical fight he often just changes back to his dragon form and uses his physical size, breath weapons, and other magic abilities to destroy them. | |||
BIOGRAPHY! Born thousands of years ago in the high mountains, Tiolith spent most of his young life with a small clan of other silver dragons. Intelligent and curious he spent years exploring the mountains but never straying far from the lair until he had mastered the ability to change his shape into the young races of humans and elves. Like many of his kind, Tiolith rarely went back to his natural form once he began to explore the world of other intelligent and short lived races. While he experimented with many forms, he found he preferred to be human instead of elven or another race though he has taken many humanoid forms in his years. After leaving his clan, Tiolith grew up among humanity and other intelligent races. His time spent with them instilled in him a love for them and the desire to protect them. On occasion he has revealed his true draconic form to people he was very close to. Many of those encounters have resulted in his various titles. He has avoided conflict most of his life unless it finds him often in the form of white and red dragons. While he has never sought out justice and conflict like some of his metallic brethren, when asked directly he has intervened on the behalf of allies in fights. While traveling with a group of noble adventurers he gained the nickname Theo and has, since then, used the name whenever in his human form. His careful living has allowed him to survive to Great Wyrm age, mating a few times with other silver dragons but never truly joining a clan. He continues to explore the modern world in human form, rarely retreating to his mountain lair to be his dragonic self. His hidden lair is filled with various treasures and protected by physical and magical traps. In the modern day he often wanders the world as a man named Theo Armitage, a lawyer or history professor. His career depends on his mood though often he's just a rich eccentric man who no one can recall how he made his money. | |||
ABILITIES! Breath Weapon: Tiolith can breathe a cone of cold that can freeze enemies solid. He is also able to breathe out a paralyzing gas that only the strongest warriors can resist. Cloudwalking: Silver dragons have the ability to walk on clouds or fog like it was solid ground. Tiolith can negate this ability at will and resume it just as easily. Polymorph Self: Through magic, Tiolith can change his shape into any form he wishes and he is able to hold that form until he changes to another form or reverts back to his natural draconic form. Magic: There are many spells that Tiolith knows including fog cloud, control winds, feather falling, control weather and the most powerful reverse gravity. He can cast various other spells as needed from the Air, Good, Law, and Sun domains along with cleric spells and the arcane. | |||
